CleanBC Rebate
Step-by-Step

Step One

Determine if your upgrades require the service of an Energy Advisor

For the CleanBC program, you need an Energy Advisor if you are doing 3 or more qualified upgrades. See the checklist above for qualification requirements.

If you DO need the help of an Energy Advisor, complete the following steps.

If you DO NOT need the help of an Energy Advisor, work with your qualified contractors to apply for individual rebates.

Step Two

If you are doing a major renovation and will qualify for multiple upgrades then book your pre-retrofit Energy Audit

You can book your audit by contacting Capture Energy at appointments@capture-energy.ca or by calling 778-835-8807.

Step Three

Go through your home with your Energy Advisor

Your advisor will inform you of all of the potential upgrades that would benefit your home.

Step Four

Review our recommendations with your renovation expert.

Your ‘renovation expert’ is the head contractor you’ve hired to manage/complete your renovations.

Step Five

Make improvements based on our recommendations.

This ensures that you are using program-qualified products and services.

.

Step Six

Schedule a post-retrofit assessment once upgrades are completed.

Step Seven

Finalize the online application for the Rebates.

For this program, each upgrade must be submitted within 6 months of installation. You can upload multiple times within the 18-month limit.

Step Eight

Receive your rebates based on your eligible upgrades.
